Our active investment strategy has performed consistently for more than a decade. The team has been investing in alternative investments, through Wayzata and its predecessor companies, since 1990.
Wayzata Investment Partners was formed in May 2004 after a management buyout of the former CFSC Wayland Advisers, Inc., a subsidiary of Cargill, Inc.
Formed in 1997, Wayland invested third-party capital in undervalued debt, equity and assets. Wayland itself was the successor to the High Yield/Reorg Group of Cargill Financial Services Corporation (CFSC), which managed a proprietary portfolio of alternative investments and performing high-yield assets from 1990-1997.
All totaled, our team has managed more than twelve billion dollars of invested capital since 1992. |
