Patrick J. Halloran - Partner

Mr. Halloran oversees all Wayzata funds and has managed the group since 1990. From 1986 to 1989, Mr. Halloran was a member of Dean Witter Reynolds’ Corporate Finance Department. Prior thereto, he was a consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co. Mr. Halloran received his Masters Degree in Accountancy from the University of North Dakota and a B.S. in Business Administration from North Dakota State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Mr. Halloran serves and has served on boards of Wayzata portfolio companies.

Joseph M. Deignan - Partner

Mr. Deignan manages distressed and high yield debt with a focus on control-oriented private equity and special situations investments. Prior to joining Wayzata in 1997, Mr. Deignan was a member of the Wessels, Arnold & Henderson investment banking team in Minneapolis. Mr. Deignan graduated with a B.A. in Economics from St. John’s University and holds an M.B.A. from the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota. He serves and has served on boards of Wayzata portfolio companies.

Blake M. Carlson - Partner

Mr. Carlson focuses on distressed and special situation investments with a focus on private equity control-oriented transactions. Focus sectors include investments in the power and energy-related industries. Since joining the group in 1997, he has been involved in numerous restructurings and distressed asset acquisitions. Mr. Carlson received a B.S. with high distinction and an M.B.A. from the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota. He serves and has served on board of Wayzata portfolio companies.

John E. Foley - Partner

Mr. Foley, since joining Wayzata in 1996, has focused on distressed and special situations investments and manages Investor Relations for Wayzata. Previously, Mr. Foley was a Financial Services Representative for New York Life and prior thereto was a foreign exchange trader for both BSI New York and JP Morgan. Mr. Foley holds an M.B.A. from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College and a B.A. from Amherst College. Mr. Foley serves and has served on boards of Wayzata portfolio companies.

John D. McEvoy - Partner

Mr. McEvoy sources and analyzes investments in private equity, distressed and special situations, having joined the group in 2003. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. McEvoy was a Managing Director for Lehman Brothers Private Equity. Prior thereto, Mr. McEvoy was both a Principal and Partner at Soros Fund Management. Mr. McEvoy holds an M.S. from MIT’s Sloan School and a B.A. from Brown University. Mr. McEvoy serves and has served on boards of Wayzata portfolio companies.

Mary I. Burns - Partner

Ms. Burns is responsible for the operational activities and financial reporting of the Wayzata funds and serves as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for Wayzata. Prior to joining the group in 1997, Ms. Burns managed the operations and customer service areas at Cargill Investor Services, New York and was previously a member of the Cargill Financial Markets Group and Audit Department. Ms. Burns holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Ray T. Wallander - Principal

Mr. Wallander joined Wayzata in 2007 and serves as counsel to Wayzata and the Wayzata funds. He is responsible for structuring and negotiating many of the funds’ investments in distressed and special situations, including in-court restructurings, out-of-court restructurings, exchanges, financings, and M&A transactions. Prior to joining Wayzata, Mr. Wallander practiced law in the areas of restructuring and commercial law with the Mohrman & Kaardal and Rider Bennett firms in Minneapolis. Mr. Wallander received his J.D. and his B.A. from the University of Minnesota.

Christopher E. Keenan - Principal

Mr. Keenan serves as a distressed and high yield analyst with a focus on control-oriented investments. Since joining Wayzata in 2004, he has been involved in numerous restructurings. Prior to joining Wayzata he was an analyst for the Distressed/High Yield group at Citadel Investment Group. Prior thereto, Mr. Keenan was an Investment Banking Analyst with Banc of America Securities in San Francisco. Mr. Keenan graduated Cum Laude with an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University. Mr. Keenan serves and has served on boards of Wayzata portfolio companies.

Jay D. Kanive - Principal

Mr. Kanive performs company analysis on high yield and distressed credits, having joined Wayzata in 2006. Mr. Kanive was employed as a Vice President at Resurgence Asset Management previously. Prior thereto, he was in investment banking groups at Jefferies & Company from 2001 through 2005 and at Salomon Smith Barney from 2000 through 2001. Mr. Kanive graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Finance from Boston College.

Daniel E. Kubes - Principal

Mr. Kubes leads Wayzata’s capital markets efforts, and has sourced and analyzed distressed investments since he joined the group in 2007. From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Kubes was a Partner at ShoreView Industries where he served as a board member for various portfolio companies. Prior thereto, he was a Managing Director at Piper Jaffray and an accountant at Arthur Andersen LLP. Mr. Kubes graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Mr. Kubes serves and has served on boards of Wayzata portfolio companies.

William P. Murnane - Principal

Mr. Murnane joined Wayzata in 2008. Prior thereto, Mr. Murnane was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Innovex, Inc., an international manufacturer of components used in high technology electronics. Before joining Innovex in 1995, Mr. Murnane was Chief Operating Officer at Boutwell Owens & Co. and Uniform Printing and Supply, two privately held printing companies based in Massachusetts. Previously, Mr. Murnane held various engineering and management positions at United Parcel Service. Mr. Murnane received a B.S. in Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, an M.S. in operations research from the University of Maryland, and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. Mr. Murnane serves and has served on boards of Wayzata portfolio companies.

Tyler J. Duncan - Principal

Mr. Duncan performs company analysis on high yield and distressed credits. Prior to joining Wayzata in 2006, he was an analyst for the Distressed/High Yield group at Deephaven Capital Management. Prior thereto, Mr. Duncan was an Investment Banking Analyst with Piper Jaffray Companies in Minneapolis. Mr. Duncan graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Mark D. Thompson - Investment Team

Mr. Thompson joined Wayzata in 2009 to assist in managing the acquisition and optimization of electric generation and natural gas assets as well as advising Wayzata portfolio companies on energy usage and hedging. Before joining Wayzata, Mr. Thompson served as the Manager of Gulf Coast Natural Gas Marketing Logistics and Optimization for BG Energy Merchants interacting with the Wayzata energy team throughout his tenure. Prior thereto, Mr. Thompson was a principal at the consulting firm Strategic Energy Concepts, LLC after working for NRG, Northwestern, Washington Power, and ConAgra. Mr. Thompson graduated in 1993 from Creighton University with degrees in Economics and Finance.

Christian F. Lundsgaard - Investment Team

Mr. Lundsgaard performs company analysis on high yield and distressed credits, having joined Wayzata in 2004. Prior to joining Wayzata, Mr. Lundsgaard was employed at Banc of America Securities as an Associate in the Equity Research Department. Mr. Lundsgaard holds an M.B.A. from the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington.

Brad F. Zilka - Investment Team

Mr. Zilka is responsible for trade execution, having joined Wayzata in February 2007. Prior thereto, Mr. Zilka spent twenty years at Piper Jaffray where his responsibilities included trading and underwriting speculative grade securities, inventory risk management, and the management of trading desks in Minneapolis and New York.

David A. Dotzenroth - Investment Team

Mr. Dotzenroth joined Wayzata in 2008. Prior thereto, Mr. Dotzenroth served as an Aviation Consultant to Wayzata and was CEO of CAI Consulting Ltd., which served as a consultant to cargo airlines from the U.S., U.K., and Mexico on aircraft acquisitions, fleet planning, and cargo conversions. Mr. Dotzenroth, who was formerly an aviation pilot, has logged over 27,000 flight hours with major carriers such as Continental Airlines, Western Airlines, and Corporate Aviation. His additional FAA licenses include FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic licenses and Flight Instructor certificates. Mr. Dotzenroth received a B.S. in Aviation Management and a minor in Marketing from Metropolitan University Denver, Colorado.

Kenneth W. Hager - Investment Team

Mr. Hager performs analysis on investments in private equity and distressed situations, having joined the group in 2005. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Hager was a Managing Director for Hidden Creek Industries (“HCI”), a private equity firm affiliated with Onex Corporation, where he was responsible for initiating and managing transactions and developing HCI’s portfolio companies. Prior to HCI, he was a Managing Director for Manchester Companies, a corporate restructuring firm, and Senior Vice President and General Counsel for a regional investment banking firm. Mr. Hager received his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and a B.S. in Accounting from Moorhead State University.

Nicholas R. Treat - Investment Team

Mr. Treat performs company analysis on high yield and distressed credits. Mr. Treat joined Wayzata in 2009 after receiving his B.S. with high distinction from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Derek P. Pitt - Investment Team

Mr. Pitt performs company analysis on high yield and distressed credits. Prior to joining Wayzata in 2007, Mr. Pitt was a trader and portfolio manager for Black River Asset Management in both Minneapolis and London. Mr. Pitt holds an M.B.A. from the Eli Broad School of Management at Michigan State University and a B.B.A. in Finance from Pittsburg State University. He serves and has served on board of Wayzata portfolio companies.

John T. Walsh - Investment Team

Mr. Walsh joined Wayzata in 2008 having worked with the group since 2006 in the power sector. Prior to joining Wayzata, Mr. Walsh was the Western Region Manager for Calpine’s Turbine Maintenance Group. Prior thereto, he managed a combined cycle gas turbine facility for NRG. He has also served in management and supervisory positions for Simpson Paper and General Electric. Mr. Walsh received a B.S. in Engineering from San Francisco State University.

Justin K. Conlin - Investment Team

Mr. Conlin joined Wayzata in 2013 and performs company analysis on high yield and distressed credits. Prior to joining Wayzata, Mr. Conlin was an analyst at UBS Investment Bank in the Financial Sponsors & Leveraged Finance group. Mr. Conlin is a graduate of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota (B.S.B., Finance).

Bryan T. Rich, Jr. - Investment Team

Mr. Rich performs company analysis on high yield and distressed credits. Prior to joining Wayzata in 2009, he was a Public Equity Analyst for Skystone Capital Management. Prior thereto, he was a Private Equity Analyst at H.I.G. Capital and an Investment Banking Analyst in the Leveraged Finance group at Wachovia Securities. Mr. Rich graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics with an emphasis in Finance from Vanderbilt University.

Sven Hansen - Investment Team

Mr. Hansen is responsible for sourcing and performing analysis on high yield and distressed credits across Europe. Prior to joining Wayzata in 2010, he was a member of the restructuring team and mergers and acquisition division at Lazard. Mr. Hansen holds an M.Sc. from Handelshochschule Leipzig, Germany.

Luca Severo - Investment Team

Mr. Severo is responsible for analyzing high yield and alternative investments across Europe. Prior to joining Wayzata in 2011, Mr. Severo worked at the credit opportunities funds of Numen Capital and Fortress in London. Prior thereto, Mr. Severo worked for three years in the restructuring group and in the mergers and acquisitions department of UBS in London and Milan. Mr. Severo holds an M.B.A. from MIT Sloan School of Management and a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnic of Milan, Italy.

Ravi G. Lekhrajani - Investment Team

Mr. Lekhrajani manages Wayzata’s Indian subsidiary and is responsible for sourcing special situation investments primarily in India. He has over fifteen years of private equity experience managing offshore funds in India. Mr. Lekhrajani is a Certified Public Accountant (U.S.-inactive), a Cost Accountant (India), and received his M.B.A. from Gujarat University in India.

Krishnan Ganesan - Investment Team

Mr. Ganesan joined Wayzata’s affiliate in July 2012 and is responsible for Wayzata’s special situation investments in India. He has more than eight years of experience in the areas of private equity, business consulting, audit & assurance including six years of private equity experience across several sectors. Prior to joining Wayzata, he worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Stern Stewart & Co and at ICICI Venture. He is a national rank holding Chartered Accountant (India), Company Secretary (India) and received his MBA (with distinction) from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (India).

Ankur Jain - Investment Team

Mr. Jain joined Wayzata’s affiliate in December 2013. He has more than five years of experience in the areas of investment banking and auditing & assurance. Prior to joining Wayzata, he worked for SBI Capital Markets and KPMG. He is a Chartered Accountant (India) and a graduate in Business Management Studies from Mumbai University.

Matthew A. Swanson - Legal

Mr. Swanson joined Wayzata in 2010 and is responsible for structuring and negotiating the funds’ investments in distressed and special situations, including restructurings in and out of court, financings and distressed M&A transactions. Mr. Swanson also works extensively with Wayzata’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Wayzata, Mr. Swanson was affiliated with the law firms of Latham & Watkins LLP and Shaw Gussis Fishman Glantz Wolfson & Towbin LLC. Mr. Swanson received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, his J.D. from the University of Southern California (with honors) and his B.A. from the University of Michigan (with distinction).

Patrick R. Shane - Legal and Compliance

Mr. Shane is the Compliance and Regulatory Manager for Wayzata and is responsible for a variety of compliance and regulatory matters affecting Wayzata, the Wayzata funds, and the portfolio companies. Prior to joining Wayzata in 2012, Mr. Shane practiced in the investment management group with the law firm of Faegre Baker Daniels, LLP and served as an attorney in the U.S. Army. Mr. Shane received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (with honors) and his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.

Tracey A. Calderon - Legal and Compliance

Ms. Calderon joined Wayzata in September 2005 and is responsible for areas relating to documentation and compliance of the Wayzata funds. Ms. Calderon was previously with EBF & Associates, L.P. and Cargill Inc. Ms. Calderon received her B.A. in Organizational Management at Bethel College and Paralegal Certification at Minnesota Paralegal Institute.

Kelly M. Aubrey - Operations

Ms. Aubrey joined Wayzata in 2013 as the Power & Energy Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the financial, operational and administrative activities of the power and energy portfolio investments of the Wayzata funds. Ms. Aubrey previously held positions as Insurance Manager for NRG Energy, Inc., Assistant Treasurer for Alliant Techsystems Inc., Risk Manager for Pentair, Inc. and Senior Auditor with Deloitte & Touche LLP. Ms. Aubrey received her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and a B.S. in Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Ms. Aubrey is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and holds an Associate in Risk Management designation.

Pia E. Schutt - Operations

Ms. Schutt is the Controller for Wayzata and is responsible for accounting, performance reporting, tax and audit information reporting, and systems management of the Wayzata funds. Prior to joining the group, Ms. Schutt was part of Cargill’s Financial Markets Division since 1981. Ms. Schutt received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and passed the Certified Public Accountant’s exam (inactive).

Andrew D. Huss - Operations

Mr. Huss is the Accounting Manager for Wayzata and is responsible for various financial reporting, tax planning, and tax compliance. Additionally, Mr. Huss is responsible for the financial, operational, and administrative activities of the real estate portfolio investments of the Wayzata funds. Before joining Wayzata in 2013, Mr. Huss was a Tax Manager with KPMG LLP. He has a B.A. in Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and a Master of Business Taxation from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Certified Public Accountant.

Jennifer S. Dyste - Operations

Ms. Dyste is responsible for various accounting and financial reporting activities of the Wayzata funds. Ms. Dyste joined Cargill in 1992 and has been with the group since its inception.

Jacki A. Leyk - Operations

Ms. Leyk joined Wayzata in February of 2008 and is responsible for various accounting and financial reporting activities of the Power and Aviation portfolio investments within the Wayzata funds. Ms Leyk was previously with Robert Half International. Ms. Leyk received her B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Concordia College.

Linda S. Gans - Operations

Ms. Gans is the Operations Manager for Wayzata and is responsible for cash management and operational activities of the Wayzata funds. Ms. Gans joined the group in 1992 and was previously employed by Cargill since 1985. Ms. Gans received an Associate of Arts degree from Normandale Community College and attended Metropolitan State University with an emphasis in Accounting.

Jonathan M. Haidet - Operations

Mr. Haidet is the Operations Manager – Domestic for Wayzata and is responsible for the investment coordination process and various trade facilitation and operational activities of the Wayzata funds. Additionally, Mr. Haidet is responsible for the financial, operational and administrative activities of the investment in India. Prior to joining Wayzata in 2008, Mr. Haidet was a Senior Audit Associate with KPMG LLP. Mr. Haidet received his Bachelor of Science in Business, Accounting and MIS at the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management.

Robert Jakubauskas - Operations

Mr. Jakubauskas is the Operations Manager – Foreign for Wayzata and is responsible for the investment coordination process and various operational activities. Additionally, Mr. Jakubauskas is responsible for the financial, operational and administrative activities of the shipping portfolio investments of the Wayzata funds. Prior to joining Wayzata in 2013, Mr. Jakubauskas was with KPMG LLP most recently in their International Corporate Services department. He holds a Master’s of Business Taxation and Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. Additionally, Mr. Jakubauskas is a Licensed CPA (active) and is working on his MBA in Finance at University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business.

Shawna M. Mack - Operations

Ms. Mack is responsible for the daily cash management and forecasting, along with various operational activities for the Wayzata funds. Prior to joining the group in 2004, Ms. Mack was employed by US Bank Home Mortgage since 1999 as a Trading Assistant/Financial Analyst in Secondary Marketing. Ms. Mack has received a B.S. in Finance from Metropolitan State University.
