Patrick J. Halloran - Partner

Mr. Halloran oversees all Wayzata funds and has managed the group since 1990. From 1986 to 1989, Mr. Halloran was a member of Dean Witter Reynolds’ Corporate Finance Department. Prior thereto, he was a consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co. Mr. Halloran received his Masters Degree in Accountancy from the University of North Dakota and a B.S. in Business Administration from North Dakota State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Mr. Halloran serves and has served on boards of Wayzata portfolio companies.

Joseph M. Deignan - Partner

Mr. Deignan manages distressed and high yield debt with a focus on control-oriented private equity and special situations investments. Prior to joining Wayzata in 1997, Mr. Deignan was a member of the Wessels, Arnold & Henderson investment banking team in Minneapolis. Mr. Deignan graduated with a B.A. in Economics from St. John’s University and holds an M.B.A. from the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota. He serves and has served on boards of Wayzata portfolio companies.

Blake M. Carlson - Partner

Mr. Carlson focuses on distressed and special situation investments with a focus on private equity control-oriented transactions. Focus sectors include investments in the power and energy-related industries. Since joining the group in 1997, he has been involved in numerous restructurings and distressed asset acquisitions. Mr. Carlson received a B.S. with high distinction and an M.B.A. from the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota. He serves and has served on board of Wayzata portfolio companies.

John E. Foley - Partner

Mr. Foley, since joining Wayzata in 1996, has focused on distressed and special situations investments and manages Investor Relations for Wayzata. Previously, Mr. Foley was a Financial Services Representative for New York Life and prior thereto was a foreign exchange trader for both BSI New York and JP Morgan. Mr. Foley holds an M.B.A. from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College and a B.A. from Amherst College. Mr. Foley serves and has served on boards of Wayzata portfolio companies.

Mary I. Burns - Partner

Ms. Burns is responsible for overseeing the operational, financial and compliance activities of the Wayzata funds. Prior to joining the group in 1997, Ms. Burns managed the operations and customer service areas at Cargill Investor Services, New York and was previously a member of the Cargill Financial Markets Group and Audit Department. Ms. Burns holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Ray T. Wallander - Principal

Mr. Wallander joined Wayzata in 2007 and serves as counsel to Wayzata and the Wayzata funds. He is responsible for structuring and negotiating many of the funds’ investments in distressed and special situations, including in-court restructurings, out-of-court restructurings, exchanges, financings, and M&A transactions. Prior to joining Wayzata, Mr. Wallander practiced law in the areas of restructuring and commercial law with the Mohrman & Kaardal and Rider Bennett firms in Minneapolis. Mr. Wallander received his J.D. and his B.A. from the University of Minnesota.

Christopher E. Keenan - Principal

Mr. Keenan serves as a distressed and high yield analyst with a focus on control-oriented investments. Since joining Wayzata in 2004, he has been involved in numerous restructurings. Prior to joining Wayzata he was an analyst for the Distressed/High Yield group at Citadel Investment Group. Prior thereto, Mr. Keenan was an Investment Banking Analyst with Banc of America Securities in San Francisco. Mr. Keenan graduated Cum Laude with an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University. Mr. Keenan serves and has served on boards of Wayzata portfolio companies.

Jay D. Kanive - Principal

Mr. Kanive performs company analysis on high yield and distressed credits, having joined Wayzata in 2006. Mr. Kanive was employed as a Vice President at Resurgence Asset Management previously. Prior thereto, he was in investment banking groups at Jefferies & Company from 2001 through 2005 and at Salomon Smith Barney from 2000 through 2001. Mr. Kanive graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Finance from Boston College.

Daniel E. Kubes - Principal

Mr. Kubes leads Wayzata’s capital markets efforts, and has sourced and analyzed distressed investments since he joined the group in 2007. From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Kubes was a Partner at ShoreView Industries where he served as a board member for various portfolio companies. Prior thereto, he was a Managing Director at Piper Jaffray and an accountant at Arthur Andersen LLP. Mr. Kubes graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Mr. Kubes serves and has served on boards of Wayzata portfolio companies.

Tyler J. Duncan - Principal

Mr. Duncan performs company analysis on high yield and distressed credits. Prior to joining Wayzata in 2006, he was an analyst for the Distressed/High Yield group at Deephaven Capital Management. Prior thereto, Mr. Duncan was an Investment Banking Analyst with Piper Jaffray Companies in Minneapolis. Mr. Duncan graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Brad F. Zilka - Trader

Mr. Zilka is responsible for trade execution, having joined Wayzata in February 2007. Prior thereto, Mr. Zilka spent twenty years at Piper Jaffray where his responsibilities included trading and underwriting speculative grade securities, inventory risk management, and the management of trading desks in Minneapolis and New York.

Mr. Ruth joined Wayzata in 2015 and performs company analysis on high yield and distressed credits. Prior to joining Wayzata, Mr. Ruth was an analyst at Houlihan Lokey in the Financial Restructuring Group. Mr. Ruth graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University.

Bryan T. Rich, Jr. - Principal

Mr. Rich performs company analysis on high yield and distressed credits. Prior to joining Wayzata in 2009, he was a Public Equity Analyst for Skystone Capital Management. Prior thereto, he was a Private Equity Analyst at H.I.G. Capital and an Investment Banking Analyst in the Leveraged Finance group at Wachovia Securities. Sven Hansen - Principal

Mr. Hansen is responsible for sourcing and performing analysis on high yield and distressed credits across Europe. Luca Severo - Principal

Mr. Severo is responsible for analyzing high yield and alternative investments across Europe. Prior to joining Wayzata in 2011, Mr. Severo worked at the credit opportunities funds of Numen Capital and Fortress in London. Prior thereto, Mr. Severo worked for three years in the restructuring group and in the mergers and acquisitions department of UBS in London and Milan. Mr. Severo holds an M.B.A. from MIT Sloan School of Management and a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnic of Milan, Italy.

Ravi G. Lekhrajani - Principal

Mr. Lekhrajani manages Wayzata’s Indian subsidiary and is responsible for sourcing special situation investments primarily in India. He has over fifteen years of private equity experience managing offshore funds in India. Mr. Lekhrajani is a Certified Public Accountant (U.S.-inactive), a Cost Accountant (India), and received his M.B.A. from Gujarat University in India.

Ankur Jain - Analyst

Mr. Jain joined Wayzata’s affiliate in December 2013. He has more than five years of experience in the areas of investment banking and auditing & assurance. Prior to joining Wayzata, he worked for SBI Capital Markets and KPMG. He is a Chartered Accountant (India) and a graduate in Business Management Studies from Mumbai University.

Matthew A. Swanson - Principal

Mr. Swanson joined Wayzata in 2010 and is responsible for structuring and negotiating the funds’ investments in distressed and special situations, including restructurings in and out of court, financings and distressed M&A transactions. Mr. Swanson also works extensively with Wayzata’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Wayzata, Mr. Swanson was affiliated with the law firms of Latham & Watkins LLP and Shaw Fishman LLC. Mr. Swanson received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, his J.D. from the University of Southern California (with honors) and his B.A. from the University of Michigan (with distinction).

Patrick R. Shane - Chief Compliance Officer

Mr. Shane is the Chief Compliance Officer for Wayzata and is responsible for compliance and regulatory matters affecting Wayzata, the Wayzata funds, and the portfolio companies. Prior to joining Wayzata in 2012, Mr. Shane practiced in the investment management group with the law firm of Faegre Baker Daniels, LLP and served as an attorney in the U.S. Army. Mr. Shane received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (with honors) and his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.

Tracey A. Calderon - Legal and Compliance

Ms. Calderon joined Wayzata in September 2005 and is responsible for areas relating to documentation and compliance of the Wayzata funds. Ms. Calderon was previously with EBF & Associates, L.P. and Cargill Inc. Ms. Calderon received her B.A. in Organizational Management at Bethel College and Paralegal Certification at Minnesota Paralegal Institute.

Kelly M. Aubrey - Chief Operations Officer

Ms. Aubrey is the Chief Operations Officer for Wayzata and is responsible for the operations and treasury functions of the Wayzata funds. Ms. Aubrey joined Wayzata in 2013 and previously held positions as Insurance Manager for NRG Energy, Inc., Assistant Treasurer for Alliant Techsystems Inc., Risk Manager for Pentair, Inc. and Senior Auditor with Deloitte & Touche LLP. Ms. Aubrey received her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and a B.S. in Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Ms. Aubrey is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and holds an Associate in Risk Management designation.

Pia E. Schutt - Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Schutt is the Chief Financial Officer for Wayzata and is responsible for accounting, limited partner reporting, tax, audit, and systems management of the Wayzata funds. Prior to joining the group, Ms. Schutt was part of Cargill’s Financial Markets Division since 1981. Ms. Schutt received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and passed the Certified Public Accountant’s exam (inactive).

Andrew D. Huss - Operations

Mr. Huss is the Senior Accounting Manager for Wayzata and is responsible for various financial reporting and tax compliance. Additionally, Mr. Huss is responsible for the financial, operational, and administrative activities of the real estate portfolio investments of the Wayzata funds. Before joining Wayzata in 2013, Mr. Huss was a Tax Manager with KPMG LLP. He has a B.A. in Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and a Master of Business Taxation from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Certified Public Accountant.

Jacki A. Leyk - Operations

Ms. Leyk joined Wayzata in February of 2008 and is responsible for various accounting and financial reporting activities of the Power and Aviation portfolio investments within the Wayzata funds. Ms Leyk was previously with Robert Half International. Ms. Leyk received her B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Concordia College.

Jonathan M. Haidet - Operations

Mr. Haidet is the Senior Operations Manager for Wayzata and is responsible for the investment coordination process and various trade facilitation and operational activities of the Wayzata funds. Additionally, Mr. Haidet is responsible for the financial, operational and administrative activities of foreign investments of the Wayzata funds. Prior to joining Wayzata in 2008, Mr. Haidet was a Senior Audit Associate with KPMG LLP. Mr. Haidet received his Bachelor of Science in Business, Accounting and MIS at the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management.

Shawna M. Mack - Operations

Ms. Mack is responsible for the daily cash management and forecasting, along with various operational activities for the Wayzata funds. Prior to joining the group in 2004, Ms. Mack was employed by US Bank Home Mortgage since 1999 as a Trading Assistant/Financial Analyst in Secondary Marketing. Ms. Mack has received a B.S. in Finance from Metropolitan State University.
